On arrival at the Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station (own cost), you will be transferred to Darjeeling. En-route you will visit Mirik Lake, an ideal place for boating where on arrival you will check into your hotel.
Early morning (around 4.00 am), you will drive to Tiger Hill to enjoy the magnificent view of sunrise and the effect of sun light over the Eastern Himalayan peaks like Mt. Kanchendzonga (28,208 ft), Kabru, Pandim etc (subject to clear weather conditions). On return to your hotel visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
After breakfast there will be Darjeeling city tour including HMI & Darjeeling Zoo (Thursday closed), tea garden, Tenzing Rock Tibetan Self Help Refugee Centre (Sunday Closed), Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda.
After breakfast start your journey with a Joy Ride by Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. It’s a two hour journey starts from Darjeeling to Batasia Loop to Ghoom & Back to Darjeeling. DHR, The UNESCO World Heritage, popularly known as Toy Train, will provide you a unique experience.
Darjeeling is famous for tea & produces one of the best quality teas available in the world. Afternoon drive to Happy Valley Tea Estate/ Tukvar Tea Garden to have firsthand experience of tea processing & testing.
Drive back to Bagdogra Airport/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station for your return journey.
